Multi-Color acquires Irish healthcare label specialist

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has announced the 100% acquisition of New Era Packaging (New Era), which became effective February 2, 2015. New Era is based near Dublin, Ireland and specializes in labels for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries and has annual revenues of approximately $14 million.

This acquisition creates a greater focus on the growing healthcare label market. New Era’s Joint Managing Director John Peat and the management team will continue to run the business and operate from its current facility.

MCC President and CEO Nigel Vinecombe says, “We are excited to have John and team join us. We supply the healthcare label market in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Poland and see Europe as a large market we can develop, especially with the expertise from New Era.”
